About
Trichologist Sally-Ann Tarver MIT.LTTS
The Cotswold
Trichology Centre is the Midlands’ leading accredited
Trichologist Clinic for men, women and children.
Established
in 1998, the Trichology Centre has over 10-years experience
in diagnosis, treatment and advice on a wide range of hair and
scalp problems including Alopecia
Areata, Alopecia
Totalis, male
baldness, female
hair loss, sudden
hair loss, itchy flaky scalp
conditions, hair damage and condition issues.
The
Cotswold Trichology Centre is run by managing director and founder
Sally-Ann Tarver, a fully qualified Trichologist trained by
The Institute of Trichologists. She is currently Vice President
of The
Trichological Society and
will become President in May 2008. She is a full member of the
Institute of Trichologists (MIT) and a Licentiate of The Trichological
Society (LTTS). She has also worked in Harley Street, London.
She
initially took an interest in this rather obscure profession
after suffering severe injuries in a motorbike accident. The
trauma of the accident caused her to loose hair which is where
her career began. She realised that there were many people suffering
hair loss just like her and that there was no qualified Trichologist
to advise them.
Sally-Ann
Tarver is frequently asked to speak on hair loss issues for
BBC radio and has been on ITV’s This Morning programme
to comment on male hair loss. She has been featured in a number
of consumer magazines including Zest and Cotswold Life.
The
Cotswold Trichology Centre recently underwent a £40,000
refurbishment following the devastating floods which hit the
midlands in July 2007.
